Throttle cut, also known as throttle hold, is a safety feature in RC airplanes that prevents the motor from accidentally starting, especially when handling the aircraft on the ground. It's a switch on the transmitter that, when activated, cuts the throttle to a preset low or zero value, regardless of the throttle stick position. This prevents accidental motor engagement when arming the plane, adjusting settings, or during landing and retrieval.
